Research on the Benefits of Hatha Yoga and Prenatal Yoga-
Research shows that among women with breast cancer, those who did yoga had a steeper daily drop in cortisol levels than women who just stretched. Some studies suggest that if levels of stress hormones remain high throughout the day, a woman's cancer is more likely to worsen.

In a study conducted by University of California, women with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who practised yoga were happier, could generally better accept their pain, had more energy and felt better. Women who did not practise yoga did not experience these improvements.

Yoga has been found to reduce atrial fibrillation (AF) episodes. A small study has discovered that patients who underwent a three-month yoga intervention phase reported improvements in their AF, where it was reduced. Dr Dhanunjaya Lakkireddy recommends that yoga be used as a supplement therapy for AF.

And especially for pregnant ladies -
During pregnancy, our hormones can cause mood swings. We may also feel depressed, irritable, overwhelmed and unable to cope. Now, new research from University of Michigan shows that yoga can relieve these symptoms and improve bonding with your baby!
